Day 1 JAMBO (WELCOME) TO KENYA / LOCAL CHILDREN’S ORPHANAGE

Your adventure has begun! Receive a warm welcome from your host family as they greet you right outside the airport doors. Head home to your Nairobi homestay to settle in and have a delicious lunch. Spend the late afternoon at a local children’s orphanage where you’ll have fun engaging with the joyful children. An amazing opportunity to hear some of the children’s stories and learning how the orphanage strives to provide these children with good, safe homes. (Proceeds of your trip are contributed to providing well- needed supplies that you’ll personally gift to the orphanage during your visit).

Relax back at home with a home cooked dinner and overnight.

Day 2 MAASAI TRIBAL VILLAGE

After breakfast, spend the entire day off the beaten path immersed into a Maasai Tribal Village to experience firsthand their rich and fascinating lives. The Maasai culture is one of the most recognized and famous tribes throughout Africa. Known for their traditional cow dung mud huts, drinking cow’s blood, dressing in colorful tribal clothing, high jumping skills, and living only amongst their own kind in remote areas; you will find yourself captivated every moment on this enriching experience.

Head home for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3  FLIGHT TO MOMBASA COAST: FORT JESUS / OLD TOWN CITY TOUR

Have an early morning breakfast and take a quick flight to the beautiful coast of Mombasa. Upon arrival, visit some of Mombasa’s celebrated landmarks; Moi Avenue (known for its giant elephant tusk monument) and Fort Jesus (a colonial fort built in the 1500’s during the East African slave trade era). Stroll through the streets of the multi-cultural Old Town of Mombasa while you stop for a delicious lunch at the well-known Forodhani Restaurant.

After lunch, explore the vibrancy of the local street markets and its amazing handcrafted goods.

Head to your beachfront lodging for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 WASINI ISLAND SAILING & SNORKELING EXCURSION / SHIMONI SLAVE CAVE TOUR

Start this exciting day with an early breakfast and then depart for Wasini Island. Set sail on a traditional dhow boat coasting the Indian ocean in search for dolphins. Jump into the warm, pristine waters and snorkel Kisite Marine National Park spotting endless amounts of colorful marine wildlife. Relax and indulge in a tropical seafood lunch served right on the beach. Continue on with a fascinating historical tour around Wasini’s Fishing Village and the Shimoni Slave Caves learning its rich and ancient history.

Return to your beachfront lodging for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 INDIGENOUS MIJIKENDA VILLAGE IN THE SACRED KAYA FOREST

After a delightful breakfast, take off to discover the Indigenous Mijikenda Tribe who live within the Sacred Mijikenda Kaya Forest. Experience the cherished culture of the Mijikenda and learn about their unique customs of natural remedies, agriculture, traditional ceremonies, familial heritage, holy blessings, and much more. A rare and enchanting full day experience that will leave you speechless.

Head to your beachfront lodging for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 HALLER PARK / FLIGHT TO NAIROBI

Enjoy breakfast then head to the well-known, peaceful, ecological nature reserve of Haller Park that is home to beautiful scenery, extensive wildlife, and a relaxing atmosphere.

After lunch, take an afternoon flight back to Nairobi. 

Return home for a home cooked dinner and overnight.

Day 7 MORNING SAFARI IN NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK / BABY ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE / DEPART FOR AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Wake up to breakfast and reach Nairobi National Park for an early morning safari.
Search for exotic animals including: giraffes, rhinos, gazelles, water buffalo, zebras, lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, and many others. Visit the baby elephant orphanage, known as the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a project that rehabilitates orphaned elephants while educating the public on its conservancy, allowing its guests to get up close to see and feel these magnificent creatures.

Promptly after lunch, depart for Amboseli National Park. Known for its remarkable backdrop of the largest, snow-capped mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park is home to a diverse and vast array of wildlife including elephants, lions, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and much more.

Once arrived, enjoy your evening with a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 WILDLIFE SAFARI IN AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, head out for a full day in this photogenic national park with morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 9 DEPART FOR NAIROBI / GIRAFFE CENTRE / BOMAS OF KENYA

After a leisure breakfast, depart for Nairobi.

Visit the renowned Giraffe Centre, a local non-profit organization created for the protection of the highly endangered Rothschild Giraffe. An amazing experience offered to learn about the conservation requirements as well as the opportunity to obverse and feed these elegant animals.

After lunch, share in the joy celebrating the Bomas of Kenya. This is a rollicking experience featuring the rich diversity of Kenyan traditional music and movement. Over 50 authentic dances from various tribal communities will transport you through a journey of Kenya’s rich past and vibrant present.

Get reunited with your host family and head back to your homestay for a homecooked dinner and overnight.

Day 10 LOCAL STREET MARKETS / KWAHERI (GOODBYE) FROM KENYA

Enjoy your final Kenyan breakfast then head out to visit some of Nairobi’s biggest local street markets to find last minute artifacts and souvenirs discovery lots of varieties of curios, paintings, drawings, jewelry, clothes and fabrics with East African prints hand-made by local Kenyan artisans.

Depart for the airport for an afternoon/evening flight home.
