Whether you are traveling alone or with others, we will arrange for a local experienced guide to travel with you to ensure that you get the most from Your Journey.

 

Your Journey is the business venture of two adventure-travel veterans: Karl Kannstadter and Anna MacKay. Karl and Anna each have more than 20 years experience in the travel business and, combined, they have visited all seven continents and traveled in over 80 countries. Their travel experience is varied and includes:

  • Overland journeys by truck
  • Tenting in the middle of nowhere
  • Trekking from lodge to lodge
  • Sleeping in local tribal huts
  • Staying in small family-run inns
  • Sailing on small ships
  • Being pampered in five star hotels and luxury lodges

Karl and Anna both worked for many years at ElderTreks and have lead tours in over 30 countries, in different styles; hiking tours, small ship expeditions, small group adventures and private journeys.
The list of countries they have travelled to includes Mongolia, China, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt, South Africa, Lesotho, Mozambique, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Mali, Burkina Faso,Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Antarctica, Finland, Iceland, India,Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet, Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, Peru, Ecuador-Galapagos, Brazil, Paraguay,Argentina, Chile, Canada (Newfoundland, Yukon and Coastal BC).
